Our story
What makes us unique?
We are a one-of-a-kind shop that sets us apart from everyone else. We have many years of experience with small airplanes and love working with different people from all over the world. After many years in the making, Amy and Tim are now Alpha Tango. We have repair station experience, and have worked in small and large shops, bringing expertise to the table. Tim is a master mechanic, and Amy is the office manager. Together we make a team.
On the road…
We come to your hangar to save time and overhead, offering a reduced cost to you and an advantage to us. After working in big hangars we realized the best solution is to keep your airplane at “home” and let us come and provide repairs or regular maintenance. This lets you be in control.
Tim Kerns, A&P, IA
A&P stands for “Airframe and Powerplant” mechanic, which means he can sign off work performed doing regular maintenance items. IA stands for “Inspection Authorization”, which means he can perform annual inspections and major repairs and alterations. “Alpha Tango” means Amy and Tim. It takes a team to be successful.
